Note: An Elementary to Intermediate level of wine knowledge is required for this course.
Champagne and Burgundy
Champagne is a sparkling wine but not all sparkling wines are Champagne! What better way to celebrate life than to enjoy an evening of Champagne and Burgundy. Learn the production methods involved in the making of Champagne to help give you an understanding of why it is in a league of its own. You cannot discuss Burgundy without discussing the complexities of terroir. The course helps you navigate around the differences that each terroir can impart on the wine.

Loire and Bordeaux
The Loire Valley sits north of Bordeaux on the Atlantic Coast and offers an array of wines – everything from Sauvignon Blanc to Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Franc. Bordeaux has always been a benchmark for collectors around the world fetching some of the highest prices. Learn the appeal of these wines as we look at the quality classification and rating systems driving these great wines.

Alsace, Rhone and Languedoc-Rousillon

Languedoc is one of the most upcoming regions from France that is making wines to compete with the new world style. These wines offer great value at an affordable price.
