About Global Academics

UBC Continuing Studies Global Academics programs started in 2002 and have expanded into innovative short and long term program options for international undergraduates interested in studying in Vancouver, Canada.

Our programs attract students from around the world who are looking to increase their intercultural fluency, combine English language with academic study, meet new friends from a variety of cultures and gain valuable workplace skills through an internship placement with a local employer. Classes are offered at UBC Vancouver at the Point Grey campus and in downtown Vancouver at UBC Robson Square.

Staff

Our staff members have extensive international experience through living and studying abroad and maintain numerous affiliations with internationally recognized associations and organizations. Their collective experiences span North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Program instructors possess subject matter expertise and also have international experience in business, research and education.
