Global Tech Program

The Global Tech (GTP) program is designed for students interested in improving their IT skills, building their intercultural communication competency and professional skills. GTP runs full-time over four weeks and combines specialized workshops, structured lab sessions, skill-building activities, assignments and a final project.

There are approximately 120 hours of structured activities in the classroom and community. Topics centre around intercultural and presentation skills, leadership and teamwork and data-driven, rich internet application development. Students also engage in personal development related to:

• feeling confident sharing their ideas despite language, cultural or environmental barriers
• examining different approaches to teamwork
• fostering leadership skills best suited to their needs and abilities
• working with unfamiliar resources and tech terminology
• collaborating with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Minimum English Level Required
TOEIC 600+ / TOEFL 504+ (paper-based) or equivalent
