Our Japanese instructors provide unique insights into the nuances of life in Japan. As they prepare you for travel to Japan or to welcome Japanese visitors, they introduce you to the formal and informal ways of contemporary Japan while giving you hints of its fascinating traditional culture. The Japanese writing system of hiragana will be introduced at Level I, katakana at Level II and kanji at the intermediate and advanced levels.
