Travel Programs

The richness of travel experience is not about the mileage that it covers but rather about the depth of understanding that you gain.

A travel program with UBC Continuing Studies is a unique academic and cultural experience. Some of the advantages of these outstanding excursions are:

• all travel courses offered by UBC Continuing Studies are academic programs that have three to five hours of directed study per day (the tuition portion of these programs may be eligible for a tax deduction)
• each cultural and language immersion group is led by a UBC instructor who acts as a linguistic and cultural guide as well as a content expert for the program
• UBC travel groups may vary from 8 to 13 students
• pre-trip orientation available with the group leader

Travel programs are offered by Languages, Cultures and Travel program of UBC Continuing Studies, which also offers courses in languages, wine appreciation and culinary arts.
