An accomplished digital strategist and project manager, Rachel Segal’s expertise includes strategic planning, content development, community management, website architecture and usability, and blogger relations. She is also skilled in handling online crisis and issues management across owned and influenced web channels.
Before starting her own consulting firm in 2012, Rachel was director of digital operations for Edelman Public Relations Canada. Rachel led the execution of a variety of digital programs including a number of consumer and healthcare clients such as Johnson’s Baby, Nicorette, Starbucks, Knorr, Brita, Barilla, Lipton, JELL-O, and eBay. In addition to leading client relationships, Rachel oversaw the digital integration process across all four Canadian offices.
Prior to Edelman, Rachel led both editorial and marketing teams at b5media. During her time there, Rachel led the development of custom editorial and social media campaigns for clients such as TRESemme and Neutrogena. She also spearheaded a technical and design revamp that led to substantial increases in traffic and engagement across the company’s portfolio of blogs.
Rachel holds a Specialized Honours BA in Communication Studies from York University.
