On March 15, 2017, the UBC Vancouver Senate approved the evolution of Continuing Studies (CS) into a new unit called UBC Extended Learning (UBC ExL), effective July 1, 2017.
As part of this evolution, UBC Continuing Studies is transferring Technology, Media and Professional Programs' (TMaP) courses and programs to the UBC Sauder School of Business as of June 2017. Read more about the transition in a news story on the UBC Sauder School of Business website.
During the transition, you can continue to enrol in TMaP courses and programs on the Continuing Studies website. You can also register for courses and apply them toward certificates, award of achievements, associate certificates or accelerated diploma programs.
We are working with the UBC Sauder School of Business to maintain an excellent level of service and minimize disruptions during this transition period, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Your registration for your course(s) doesn’t change and classes are proceeding as scheduled. You can expect to receive course communications as usual.
Yes. We will continue to offer certificate and other programs. Courses for spring, summer and fall 2017 are open and available for registration. We are currently scheduling winter 2018 courses.
For current graduates, the UBC Continuing Studies name will appear on these documents. After the transition, all certificates, awards and diplomas will be updated with the UBC Sauder School of Business name.
Yes, courses will continue to be offered at UBC Robson Square, unless otherwise noted.

We will continue to process staff tuition waivers. More information on staff tuition waivers and eligibility can be found here.
