Writing Your Non-Fiction Book

Do you have a compelling idea for a book, but don’t know where to start or what to do next? Learn the steps to turn that glimmer of an idea into a book proposal that you can submit to an agent or publisher. In this workshop, you discover how to explore your idea and research what’s already been written about it, develop a working outline, craft an effective query letter, create a book proposal, and begin writing your book. The informal workshop format provides time for lectures, writing, individual presentations, group discussion, and feedback. You also receive a bibliography of useful resources.
